Like so many wonderful things, the idea for Pick your Pie originated with my mother.
On vacation one day, my mother wanted a slice of key lime pie.
We had no plates available, so my mother put the pie in a cup and ate it on the go with a spoon.
This was the spark that started Pick Your Pie.

Stir occasionally until the filling thickens-not quite boiling but a good amount of steam will rise from the filling.
Also, Costco sells a great Triple Cherry blend.
If you use the Triple Cherry Blend just use 2 lbs of the blend.
The filling will be good for a couple of days but will become a little watery-it's still good.
