Center Stage Deli is dedicated to providing our customers with the finest quality of delicious food and excellent service. David Kniskern first opened the Center Stage Deli on Schenectady's Jay Street in 1981 as part of a revitalization of downtown Schenectady that included a pedestrian mall running between Liberty and State streets. He next opened a branch of his Center Stage Deli in the Proctor's Theater Arcade, and relocated the business's main operation to Rotterdam over 20 years ago.
The Center Stage Deli is now located at 2678 Hamburg Street (NY Route 146) where David and his brother Kevin, together with their excellent staff, all work hard to please loyal and enthusiastic customers by consistently providing excellent food and superb service.
The Center Stage Deli, located in a pleasantly small strip mall, is very comfortable where the dining room walls display autographed pictures and posters, collected from various shows and artists who have visited Schenectady's famous Proctor's Theater through the years.
