Emerald City Catering & Events was founded in 2009.
Oz has had a passion for cooking for as long as he can remember.
He was always playing with his mom's pots and pans on the floor in the kitchen.
Some of his fondest childhood memories are of family gatherings around a fantastic meal prepared by his parents who let him help with the preparations.

Emerald City will charge for the estimated number of guests provided unless the number of actual guests exceeds the estimate.
If the number of actual guests exceeds the estimate, Emerald City will charge for the actual number of guests.
Emerald City strictly prohibits the serving of any food or beverage not purchased from Emerald City Catering and Events.

I began early to search for the right venue to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and college graduation.
Pedro was on his way home from work and died instantly on 13th and Morgan, just down the street from Emerald City.
As we gathered to try to console the family, we received a call from Steve Ozbolt (Oz).
Steve, a complete stranger, called to express his condolences.
But, it didn't end there.
He proceeded to explain how deeply troubled and touched he was with Pedro's senseless death and wanted to do something for the family.
Pedro was on his way home from work and died instantly on 13th and Morgan, just down the street from Emerald City.
