Our deli boasts some of the best sandwiches in San Diego, along with a full soup and salad bar where you can dine inside or out. Catering is available to many downtown businesses. Grandpa Mixon originally started his wine and spirits store just a few blocks west, in the heart of Little Italy. Then in the 1940's, he moved over to 1427 1st Ave. There he established Mixon Liquor, probably not knowing the San Diego wine and spirits store would remain at the same downtown location for 4 generations.
