She is a 1999 graduate of Carson Newman College in Tennessee where she majored in Family and Consumer Science Education aka Home Economics.
As a student, she was the catering intern on campus and loved it.
There is a definite passion in her for food, service, and hard work.
Being raised on a tobacco/cattle farm is what she attributes her ability for hard work.
