Born and raised in Chicago, IL, my cooking influences come from my Mother (Carlon), Aunt (Vivan) and Grandmother (LizzieMae) so I had the pleasure of learning traditional (American style), soul food and simply creating dishes with fresh ingredients.When I moved to Elkhart, IN 2012 I would always look for a reason to cook and showcase what I've created to my friends and family.
And quite frankly the holidays are my favorite, it's like 'SHOWTIME' but with all that, I've gotten the same response on presentation and taste. I love the fact that people enjoy the food that I have passion for. That same group of family and friends especially my husband Chad motivated me to pursue a passion I have so here we are. Although my menu is standard, I enjoy cooking Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese, and Caribbean dishes as well.
