On Kurt and Jean's first visit to Charleston he discovered and instantly fell in love with the amazing delicacy that is Lowcountry Boil.
After relocating to Charleston in the summer of 2012, Kurt regularly prepared Lowcountry Boil for visiting friends and family for backyard pool parties and other gatherings.
Fast-forward to a warm fall evening in 2017 when Kurt and Jean were sitting by the pool enjoying a couple of icy cold beers and a steaming pot of Lowcountry Boil.
Eventually, as it often did, the after-dinner conversation turned to brain-storming ideas for a business they could build and operate together with their adult children when they came to the realization that their shared affinity for Lowcountry Boil, passion for excellence, and unique skill-sets were the perfect combination!
