I'll cut straight to the chase. Our family and team are the proud descendants of a great line of cooks. Although we have humble origins, our affection for food and family has made us rich in love and culture. We take no short-cuts. Food is cooked slow and low, mostly over smoky open mesquite flames, like it was when these traditional Mexican dishes emerged.
We are equipped to feed the multitudes while upholding the authenticity and quality of our food and service. Today, we are 2nd and 3rd-generation Chicanos and professionally trained chefs, proudly integrating an East-Los, puro Avenida Brooklyn attitude and style into these traditional dishes. It is our privilege to honor our Ama Clementina and Abuelita Margarita by carrying on in their tradition of infusing love in every twist on the molcajete and stir of the spoon.
