After 38 years of being a leader in the catering industry in central Ohio, Made From Scratch has decided to transition its business model from our catering services into a management and consulting firm. Larry Clark, President of Made From Scratch, says the time was right to close the catering division. The pandemic has been terrible to the events industry.
I knew early on this catastrophe was going to last at least a year or more. We furloughed the majority of our staff last March and serviced the few events we were contracted for the rest of the year that did not cancel. The decision to end catering services was difficult but a necessary decision, given the circumstances. Transitioning to a management and consulting firm was a natural choice.
We have been managing and coaching other businesses for years and this will allow us to concentrate on those business opportunities.
