The Reserve House (formerly Jay Walker's Cafe and Catering) has been dishing up great food and friendly folks since 2002. In 2008, we moved our catering operations from our small location in the Cherry Plaza to our current elegant dining room and full service kitchens at The Banquet Room of St. Mary's in Chardon. Executive Chef and Owner Christopher Sotkovsky has been working in the food service industry for over 30 years.
A valedictorian graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Christopher was chosen as one of the top ten best student chefs at the CIA. His resume includes work at Fennel Bistro, Santa Monica, Cheesecake Factory, Washington DC, The Inn at Honey Run, Millersburg, OH, and as a Chef Instructor for 10 years with Le Cordon Bleu North America, Pittsburgh.
His passions are creating fresh, tasty and visually appealing food as well as craft brewing without compromise. Currently, the Chef is working to incorporate more locally sourced foods with a focus on seasonality.
