With a passion and talent for cooking at the age of 18 he spent two years cultivating his craft living in Sicily. It was at this time he studied using products and produce indigenous to this region of Italy.
When he came back to the united states he worked driving a produce truck and visited thousands of kitchens getting ideas to prepare for his own kitchen. When he was 21 he opened up his first 20 seat restaurant specializing in catering and quick service foods.
