Catering with Elegance started in 1959 as a grill and snack shop in Chicago. Soon, our founder Don Helmig grew the original restaurant into ten locations throughout Chicagoland, serving donuts and coffee to go as well as breakfast and lunch. In 1970, we started offering catering services. From those humble beginnings, our family has built a thriving catering business that has served presidents, other dignitaries, and events of more than 4,000 people throughout the area.
Today, Catering with Elegance plans and produces events at the Bloomingdale Golf Club in Bloomingdale, Medinah Shrine Center, in Addison, and at homes, businesses, and venues throughout the area. We have proudly managed the business from its earliest days till now, and we continue to be involved hands-on in each and every event. Our family and senior management team oversees each event from first contact to the last guest's departure.
