Chef and Owner Shawn Hayes moved to Central Virginia in 1995 after meeting and marrying his wife Rita. They opened a small 30 seat cafe just hours after their daughter Elizabeth was born. Knowing he was in a small market with not a lot of Restaurant choices, Chef Shawn designed a menu and restaurant that was something everybody could enjoy.
Over the last 20 plus years he has built the business from a small cafe to a Cozy Cafe, Sports Bar, Banquet Rooms and off Site catering, as well as one of Virginia's best known wedding caterers.Catering is a full service and budget friendly program that will be sure to please both you and your guests. After 25 years of catering within Central Virginia and over 1,200 events, Chef Shawn has decided to take a step back from his catering services.
We have served and celebrated so many of life's milestones with our clients and have truly enjoyed each and every one of them.
Our team over the years has been phenomenal and played a large part in the rewards we have received.
