Mel's is the brainchild of Melody and her husband Al Bowers, who operate two Al's Burger Shack locations in Chapel Hill and the Saturamini Food Truck, which is available for events and offers multiple food concepts.
Prior to shifting to an event space, Mel's was a beloved lunch spot, serving soulful sandwiches, salads, sides and entrees.
Whatever the concept, Mel and Al cook from the heart and are committed to making their guests feel at home.
