Working with his grandmother in her vegetable garden as a child was Chef Dorsey's introduction to the culinary world - and he never looked back. Talking his way into his first restaurant job at 14, then apprenticing under a classically trained French chef at the age of 17, Dorsey pursued his passion for the culinary world with intensity, driven by his desire to share his craft and bring people together with food.
Chef Dorsey worked in some of the finest restaurants in the Bay Area, including Garibaldi's, Firefly, and Bay Wolf before becoming a successful restaurateur with the popular Blackberry Bistro. Chef Dorsey infuses every menu with his signature style - an elegant Californian spin on culinary traditions from around the globe.
