Jes Catering LLC was founded by Lisa Jestina Hunter in 2014 with the purpose of merging her passion for cooking with her compassion for helping people. Jes Catering LLC will provide quality food and professional catering services for your event. This is a for profit company, committed to connecting with a local homeless shelter to provide meals. Jes Catering LLC is committed to providing employment and training opportunities to the unemployed, underemployed and those in need of a second chance.

Lisa Hunter is a native of Philadelphia that has been cooking since the age of 11.
She developed a passion for cooking in her late teens and began serving at various churches on the Hospitality Team as well as assisting her mother, "Mom Pearl" with making her famous potato salad.
Lisa always had a passion for helping people and pursued a career in social work, earning both a bachelor's and a master's degree in social work, from George Mason University and Howard University, respectively.
She is a licensed social worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the District of Columbia.

Due to insurance regulations, Jes Catering LLC does not allow any outside food or beverages.
Jes Catering LLC requires a minimum of 30 days' notice for all catering services request of 25 people or more.
Any request under 30 days is considered to be an expedited request and additional fees will apply.
Please book early if your event falls during the busy summer months, holiday seasons or for parties over 25 people.
Jes Catering requires a deposit of of the estimated cost of the event at the signing of the contract.
