Owned and operated by Kanwar Sadwal, A-1 has been housed in the St. George Cultural Center in Bloomfield Hills since 2000. Our history begins with the arrival of the Sadwal family to the United States in 1974. Kan's father was a Diplomat from India and was assigned to Washington D.C. After finishing school in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Kan worked as a manager at a variety of restaurants in and around Falls City, Virginia, before following his brother to the Detroit Area in 1980.
In 1985 he came to St. George and in 2000, he established A-1 Global Catering.
