Growing up in Brooklyn NY, Jasmine Bruno, the Owner of Occasions CAtering & Cupcakery, , developed her love of all things food as a young tween. By the age of 21, she began an off premises catering company, serving the Latino Societies of the C.U.N.Y. colleges in NYC.But she was still trying to fill a creative place within her, so while taking a break from catering, she took cake Decorating certification classes.
This helped refocus her business on custom cakes. She personally bakes, cooks, decorates and perfects your product order with quality ingredients and great flavors. She has partnered with amazing vendors across all event industries from nYC down to Virginia to help your event be a success. Janette was Happy to join forces with her sister Jasmine, she is fondly remembered by her neighborhood kids for her candy loaded cakes and homemade ice cream cake creations for her children's parties.
This made her a perfect addition to OC&C. At Occasions she manages prep and quality control.
