Services
Shady Grove Foods started as a New American pop-up restaurant founded by father and son, David and Dennis Robicheau.
Shady Grove's repertoire was built upon a foundation of family recipes, Cajun/Creole Cuisine, and the massive cultural diversity that is Southern and Central California.
Other influences include Thai, New Mexican, Santa Maria BBQ, Classic French, and beyond.
Moving forward, they gained traction and expanded due to appropriate creativity, respect for tradition, and use of scratch-made products, such as their house cured bacon.
Shady Grove Foods provides Southern-style cuisine for Los Angeles County and Orange County.
Our comfort food and bayou classic catering captures the scrumptious essence of real Cajun-Creole food.
With more than 30 years of experience developing flavors and spice combinations, Shady Grove Foods will work with you to customize an incredible menu to impress your guests.
Shady Grove Foods takes food seriously, and our Louisiana-style food is the cornerstone of our Southern cuisine catering menu.
With entrees that include crispy southern style fried chicken, classic shrimp Po' boy sandwiches, savory fried catfish, smoked Cajun meatloaf, and flavorful seafood boils, our food will leave your guests stuffed and keep 'em talking.
At Shady Grove Foods, we take pride in our ability to bring mouth-watering barbecue and bayou classic cuisine to you.
Our upcoming barbecue trailer lets us do just that for Los Angeles County and Orange County.
Providing a unique catering and cooking experience, our BBQ trailer is different from a standard food service truck.
Shady Grove Foods believes that food is about community, so we set out to design a catering trailer that allows your guests to interact with our chefs at eye level.
We are taking a sea land container and turning it into a fold-open kitchen, with the sides opening into full 10 ft.
Turn your next get together, corporate meeting, or wedding into a festival by having a pig roast with all the trimmings.
Although the term Cochon De Lait is French, the origin of this Louisiana social event is obscure.
It is known that the custom began at least a century ago and has since been popular throughout Cajun Country.
It is possible that the Germans who settled in St. James Parish in 1690 were the first to introduce the Cochon De Lait.
Local legend, however, tells that veterans of Napoleon's army brought the traditional preparation of Cochon De Lait to Louisiana in the early 1800s.
