Provender is the natural progression and evolution of ideas. After the last 3 years of on-location dinners with The Farmer's Table we learned many things. In an effort to provide a unique experience and help carry the load of the Farmer's Table dinners, Provender was envisioned. Provender is a roaming wood-fired oven and crew that brings a unique experience to almost any party or celebration.

We merged a beautifully restored antique truck with a handcrafted Valoriani wood-fired oven. Our truck arrives prepared to serve any group up to 300 guests and carries with it all of the refrigeration, water, and electricity it requires, not to mention 2 draught beer lines, 1 draught root beer, and an assortment of wines. For the past 8 years Chef Chris Grebner has been making countless pizzas, baking breads, and pulling many other treats from many wood-fired hearths.

From a handful of commercial ovens to the one he built in his family's backyard, he has applied his experience working in restaurants and with private clients to help create a memorable experience for those he's cooking for.
Services
We are currently in the process of building three different menus to better accommodate the changing seasons and the availability of local product in Eastern Iowa.
We offer a full service menu, giving you as much or as little as you'd like from appetizers and salads, pizzas and desserts, to beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages.
