Janet Olsson cultivated her extensive hospitality experience in some of the nation's top restaurants. She helped celebrity chef Bobby Flay open his first Manhattan restaurant, where she met her future husband Jeff. She then spent a significant portion of her career managing the exclusive Restaurant Nora in Washington D.C. As director of events at New West Catering, Janet works closely with each client, from the initial proposal stage to the event itself.
She also maintains excellent relationships with top vendors to assist with seamless event planning. Janet believes that there are no shortcuts to "full service" catering.
