Chef DC's passion for food began in his high school Home Ec. class and continues to this day.
Since then, the food service industry has been a huge part of his life.
In 1992 DC opened DC's Cafe, a small restaurant in North Dallas.
Within the year the restaurant gained rave reviews and often the lunch crowd line wrapped around the building.
Ultimately, Chef DC relocated his facility near Downtown Dallas and the reviews and fans followed him there.
His restaurant was frequently reviewed in local newspapers and magazines and was selected "Best Of" by the Dallas Observer for several consecutive years.
