The Godwin family restaurant's concept began in 1952 on a corner of 1st Avenue Southeast.
By 1962, Ron Godwin was fully invested and after 1975 restaurants were popping up all over Cedar Rapids, IA.
By 1968 brother, sisters, and mothers were committed to making sure all customers walked out happy.
To this day, we keep striving to bring a quality product, service and atmosphere to all our clients.
In 1983, Rockwell International (now Rockwell Collins) called us and asked if we could do a monthly event for their employees.
By 1962, Ron Godwin was fully invested and after 1975 restaurants were popping up all over Cedar Rapids, IA.
